10 Things To Add To Your Lenten Season

As we approach the beginning of the Lenten season, many of us begin thinking about foods we can give up, habits we can stop.

Sacrifices.  

Instead of “giving up” something, have you ever considered “adding” something during Lent?

Here’s a list of 10 things we can add to our Lenten season!

  1. Volunteer one day at your local food bank

  2. Visit someone who is alone (bring something to eat, and visit for at least 30 minutes)

  3. Call someone you have not spoken with in over 1 year

  4. Donate clothes to a local charity

  5. Go to confession

  6. Go to one daily Mass

  7. Buy a meal for a stranger

  8. Go to Eucharistic Adoration for one hour

  9. Pray the Rosary

  10. Read one of the Gospels
